W.M.S. Ltd. were appointed by Shire Properties (Scotland) Ltd as Project Manager's / Client's Agent for the Design Build Construction of their £1.4m 21 Flatted Residential Development at East Mary Street / Millgate Loan, Arbroath.
A King Edward VIII stone, erected in 1936, prior to the King's abdication to marry Mrs Simpson was carefully removed, stored and re-erected within the new development, to retain the Royal Historical Link to Arbroath. Angus Council employed W.M.S. Ltd to ensure this valuable piece of history remined intact -

The Piling Operation began in Earnest today at FMC, on the Phase 3 major Capital Expansion Project. The Client's require a 7m deep testing pit to carry out pressure testing on their equipment in a HYDRO-STATIC environment. The Piling, initially installed prior to excavation, will form a permanent shutter around which the pit will be constructed.
