WMS Ltd have successfully negotiated Heads of Terms and a rent free period for their Clients FMC Technologies within the 50,000 Sq Ft Warehouse and 20,000 Sq Ft Offices that form the existing Palmer & Harvey Building directly across from FMC's Scottish H.Q.
WMS Ltd have also Project Managed the Internal fit out of the building including complete office fit out, the installation of a new 10 tonne Gantry Crane and 3 new jib cranes within the warehouse.
To accommodate and compliment FMC's operations a new access and access up and over door have been incorporated.
As part of Phase 2 WMS Ltd, along with their own design team, Designed & Project Managed, a new 150 space car park and security fence to the rear of the FMC Complex.
As part of the Phase 3 Capital Expansion plans, WMS Ltd produced all early designs and feasibility costs for FMC's general upgrade, internally, incorporating a New 12.5 tonne overhead Gantry Crane, New Paint Shop and assembly area within Bays 1,2 & 3.
WMS Ltd also Designed, in tandem with our Design Team, and provided all feasibility costs for FMC's extension to their existing High Bay Production and Testing building and the New High Bay Building and Test Pits that will sit alongside. All external works, drainage and fire mains diversions and the installation of New 60 Tonne and 12 Tonne overhead Gantry Cranes and an external 60 Tonne Gantry crane.
WMS Ltd are acting as FMC Technologies Employers Agents working with the successful Design Build Contractor on the Phase 3 Expansion.

Bay 5 Extension Steelwork erected with the New High Bay, Bay 6 seen in the distance. Floor drainage channels being installed onto compacted hardcore in preparation for |Floor Slab being installed. Steel work now tied into existing Bay 5 & 6 respectively. 40 Tonne Crane removed from Bay 5 through the gable @ Bay 5 & installed along with new 60 Tonne High Level Crane and New Low Level 12.5 Tonne in Bay 6. This operation was carried out prior to the Steel Fabricators erecting the Gable End Trusses and completing the Steel Erection fully. Again, intense & concentrated co-ordination was required by WMS Ltd Project Management Team, Main Contractor and Client Direct, whilst, again remaining Fully Operational on a 24-7 basis. |
